Lucy brings valuable media and communication and contacts experience from her prior roles in Tourism Publications at Where Magazine and Vacations and Travel Magazine following 5 years Travel Industry experience with sales, marketing and customer relations roles at America West Airlines, Cendant Hotel Group. 

Lucy currently holds the position of President of the Visit USA Organisation (Australia), having previously held the roles of Treasurer and Vice- President over the last 6 years.

Her two years promoting Travel South USA have been followed by 6 years’ experience as Account Manager for Visit Dallas and Visit Fort Worth Lucy has travelled extensively since a young age and has enjoyed holidays in Asia, the UK, Europe, the USA, UAE and several Pacific Islands. 

Lucy’s expertise includes: 

  • Destination marketing experience with Travel South USA, Visit Dallas and Visit Fort Worth. 
  • Proactive social and digital campaign ideas
  • Logistics associated with Trade Shows and Sales Missions, B2Bs
  • Editorial calls and media liaison
  • Coordinating and leading media familiarization trips in the US.
  • Negotiations and liaison with tour operators/meetings and incentive and airline representatives 
  • Sourcing and updating market intelligence
  • Coordination and preparation of reports
  • Strong background in policies and procedures and processes oversight.
  • Crisis management plans / Insurance oversight
